The official launch of Beyond the Hedge was on the 19th of November 2005 at the 'Harbour Lights' in Irvine, Scotland - Mairi's home town and the setting for the novel and for the sequel, Between Two Worlds. A record of the event

	That launch was followed by a joint book signing at Mairi's alma mater, Wellington School, in Ayr.
